As you can see my outfit was very laid-back and comfy. I photographed my friend Brenda for an OOTD post I'll be writing for OOTD Magazine so I didn't really wear anything that elaborate. In all reality I wasn't planning on posting about this outfit but hey, why not! It goes to show that even on casual busy days you can add some flare into your wardrobe like I did with my trouser socks. I also have some really great news. I found out last week that I'm now part of the team at OOTD Magazine! This experience is something that my heart has been yearning for. For a very long time now! I never thought that I would start off as a writer, although my mom tells me that she's always seen it in me. Her investments in journals (I started journaling in 1st grade. No lie! I had a Tinkerbell journal, LOL!) and reading my short stories my teachers would 'proudly' show her at teacher conferences in Elementary, has paid off ha ha ha! But overall I'm very thankful for this opportunity. I always thought that while living in Phoenix I wouldn't have a chance to gain some experience in the Fashion Business. Because sadly, this state is very 'blah' when it comes to Fashion. There is Fashion week, but it's literally a week of fashion, ha ha! I'm willing to find the gold though! So Phoenix get ready ;) I know there are more people out there with the same passion as mine. But, indeed I am SO excited, nervous, grateful to start writing about what I love for OOTD Mag! I hope to be much help and bring success to the magazine along with all the other talented people in the team. The website is officially launched as of yesterday! Check it out!
